Good to know.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is between 2:00 and 6:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you expect to arrive outside that window, let us know beforehand and we'll arrange it — there's no front desk in the evening. Early check-in or a late check-out can sometimes be arranged; just ask.
Is breakfast included?
Yes — and it's curated just for you. Once you book, we'll reach out and put together a breakfast made especially for you: the best of Portland's flavors, brought to your table and served at your own unhurried pace.
Is there parking?
Complimentary off-street parking is available on the property.
Do you allow pets?
We adore animals, but to keep the house restful for every guest we're unable to accommodate pets. Trained service animals are always welcome.
Are children welcome?
Portland's White House is designed for a quiet, restful stay. If you're travelling with children, please reach out before booking so we can help you choose the right room.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit is charged when you book; the balance is charged the day before you arrive. Cancel at least 14 days before arrival and that deposit is refunded in full. Within 14 days it is non-refundable. If you book at least a week ahead, you also have 48 hours after booking to cancel free of charge. Exact terms are shown when you book.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes — complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the house. (Though we won't blame you for leaving your phone in the drawer.)
