Our Policies

  • CHECK-IN --  Between 3 pm and 7 pm. We base our errands and staffing around your arrival time. IF YOUR ARRIVAL TIME CHANGES PLEASE INFORM US. Call 503-287-7131 or email us at pdxwhitehouse@gmail.com weekdays between 9 am - 5 pm (PST) should you have questions.

    CHECK-OUT -- 11 am. (Group booking check-out time is 10:30 am)

    ROOM SUBJECT TO CHANGE -- If booking only 1 night, your room is subject to upgrade/change at no additional charge to you.

    OCCUPANCY -- 2 adults per room only (roll-away beds are $50 per night and available in only select rooms)

    PAYMENT: To secure your reservation, your credit card will be charged 50% of your total stay and you will receive an email confirming your reservation.  The balance will be due upon check-in. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

    CANCELLATION POLICY:  Your 50% deposit is refundable with a minimum of 14 days advance notice of your scheduled arrival (30 days advance notice for group reservations and reservations scheduled during holidays) minus a $50 cancellation fee.  All cancellations must be sent via email and guest(s) must retain proof of receipt by Portland's White House.  Please note that "no-shows" and same-day cancellations will be charged for their entire stay.

    BREAKFAST: Served in our main dining room 7:30 - 9 am daily *starting April 1st (gift cards will be issued to guests in lieu of breakfast at the discretion of Portland's White House management)

    PARKING: Use street parking adjacent to Portland’s White House only.

    NON-SMOKING -- No smoking is allowed inside or in the immediate vicinity of Portland's White House.  

    PETS -- No pets are allowed.
