The Innkeepers, Lanning, a native of South Carolina, can usually be found in the kitchen cooking with Justin, the assistant Innkeeper, who makes the best pot of tea in Portland, Oregon. Steve, with his green thumb, spends his time pampering the perennials and pruning the sweet smelling roses. "Prescott" is the Scotty dog in residence.
